So now I’m not just a affiliate marketer, I’m a facebook application developer!

Ok, ok, my coder Wira did all the hard work, he’s damned good when it comes to FB apps, even though he’s only recently started, after “having his arm twisted” by me to try.

Last week we launched the TagK Social Profiles Facebook App, so if you want to link to all your other social site profiles, sites or blogs then grab the tagK app and get going!

after having removed BlogRush from my sidebar a few weeks ago I came across what looks like a cool replacement for it…

It’s called Link2Blogs and it simply displays some links to related blogs and whenever anyone visiting my blog clicks on one of the links I get a credit for my link to be shown on someone elses blog in the same “category” until I get a return visitor.

it certainly sounds like a nice simple way of sharing traffic with other blogs and getting more visitors to my blog, let’s see how well it works…

You might notice that I’ve removed the BlogRush panel from my blog.

I’ve taken it off as BlogRush have been “tidying” up their system to get rid of all the “crap” blogs and it would seem that for some unknown reason they feel that my blog isn’t good enough for them.

they haven’t bothered to notify me of this, or their reasons why they think this blog is not up to their standards.

in fact I had recieved an email earlier today from them to say that my blog had met their requirements and had been approved, I guess they really don’t know what they’re doing over there, shich is a shame as it seemed like a good system.

Well it seems I’ve broken my blog, a little bit at least.

If you leave a comment you’ll get an error message, don’t worry, the comment will be posted, although it is held for moderation first, in other words I get to check it and make sure it’s not rude or spam.

So just ignore the error and hit the back button on your browser and then click on where you want to go next.

Meanwhile I’ll see if my Techie mate Chris can work out what I’ve done wrong, just as soon as he gets here from Amsterdam…

I’ve just spent the last hour or so upgrading to the latest version of wordpress and installing a new theme, along with some new header images, widgets (the calendar) and a more up to date photo of myself, although I just noticed I forgot to change the “thirty something” in my description to a more “accurate” version, perhaps “closing in on 40″ would do…

What do I actually do as an “Affiliate Marketer”?

Someone recently asked me what I actually do as an affiliate marketer and it occured to me the best way I could answer is to show just how much stuff I read, so here’s a photo of just the stuff I’ve printed off to read over the last 6 weeks or so:

there’s quite a lot there, but it’s not all of the products and reports I’ve read and tested out, some I didn’t even bother printing out and some was software.

as an internet/affiliate marketer it’s part of my job to read all this stuff so that my subscribers don’t have to.

In other words, what work am I doing.

I’ve finally finished one of my new projects, although two for this month are still “ongoing”, one I’m trying to get finished for launch on Monday, and the other I’m aiming for March 9th, so I’m a little busy.

The finished one is just a simple software application for recovering deleted files called WUndelete Pro File Recovery (www.WUndelete.com).

And as I’m a real sucker for punishment I’ve started another new blog (as well as The Best Bits) for sharing my IM (internet marketing) product testing results - IMTesting

The product that I’m working on now is actually based on something I enjoy doing myself, the MMORPG (online roleplaying game) World of Warcraft.

Wow!

I just found a really cool site that I’ve gotta share..

They’ve got a neat tool that you can use to turn you’re blog, piccy’s and all (see I knew there was a reason to post pic’s on here) in to a book, although they do charge you if you want a full printed version, but that is just sooo cool!

not posting much at the moment, it’s just to darned hot!

we always complain about the weather here in the UK, it’s either too wet, too cold or to hot..

I suppose the problem is not the heat, it’s that I’m stuck in my office trying to get some work done when I’d really prefer to be sat out in the garden in the sunshine..

even more frustarating is that it’s hot all week and then rains on the weekend!

ah well, back to work.
