After dropping off the “X2B” (ex-wife to be) at work the other morning, as I needed the car, I decided to drop in to Tesco’s to pick up some vital supplies and treat myself to a fried breakfast, as it’s so damned cheap in Tesco’s.
when I got to the cuttlery and condiments bit to grab a knife and fork I was a little surprised to find that there were only plastic knives..
The forks and spoons were all metal, as usual, but not the knives..
So I popped back to the cashier to ask if I could get a metal knife.
Nope.
Apparently they’ve all been stolen and her boss won’t let her order more.
It’s friday night, so instead of just working (and catching up on my blog posts, which I should be doing) I seem to have eneded up on youtube checking out the funny videos again and this one I just had to share.
If you’re not a fan of Mondays and you’re always looking forward to friday afternoon, like who doesn’t, then it’s cool to see that the animal world has the same problems as us poor “sheeple”…
I’ve been intending to post about my recent trip to Wroclaw in Poland with “the posse”, but still haven’t found time, although that’s probably because facebook is sucking up my spare time at the moment…
If you haven’t checked out www.facebook.com yet you really should, it’s not only the 7th most popular site in the world, with over 200,000 new members signing up each day, it’s also real cool and a lot of fun.
It’s also kind of cool for catching up with old friends, I managed to catch up with a couple of people who I’ve not been in touch with in years, one of whom (Marlon Pritchard) has since moved to Australia…
it’s not like I’ve got the spare time for this, but I’ve set up yet another blog today, maybe I’m becoming a blog addict..
I’ve now got so many blogs that I could spend all day just posting to them and I wouldn’t get more than one post per blog done…
as an example, Col and I went to whatch the movie “shoot em up” tonight, and although I haven’t done it yet, I will be posting what I thoght of the movie on my tv, films and movies blog tomorrow. I would have done it already but I’ve just spent the last hour or so posting stuff on 5 other blogs that I have, although those are money making blogs, so they tend to get priority.
